Welcome to Easy Street Gardening!

Coming to you from Denver, Colorado, Easy Street Gardening is a weekly newsletter that provides clear step by step guidance on how to successfully garden on the front range (zone 5b).

My interest in gardening grew out of my love of pizza making. I wanted fresh tomatoes to make sauce. However, the more I gardened, the more I became fascinated in the whole process, not just the end product. There was so much to learn!

The internet if full of excellent gardening advice, however, it often is too general to immediately be put into action. This can leave a large amount of guess work and mystery that can get in the way of the fun of growing plants. I have spent the last four years translating this wealth of general advice into practice in my own garden, and now I want to share these best practices with you!

This newsletter is a distillation of what I have learned (and continue to learn) into manageable and actionable insights. Each week, you will receive a new publication on Thursdays that will prepare you to do effective and fun gardening on the weekend.

Each issue contains 3 - 5 specific things you should be planning or doing that week that will add up to a continual and successful harvest through the spring, summer, fall, and even winter. I will also share updates on my own gardening, reflecting on what is going well, and troubleshooting problems.

Whether you are just starting out or a seasoned grower, my hope is that this week by week guidance will take a little of the guess work out of gardening, giving you more time to enjoy the fruits of your labor.
